I’m a rural midwife based in Aotearoa New Zealand, supporting wāhine and whānau through pregnancy, birth, and the early weeks of parenting. Working across wide, often remote communities, my role blends clinical care with strong relationships, adaptability, and a deep respect for the natural process of birth. No two days are the same—care might be in homes, clinics, or on the road—but the focus is always on providing safe, personalised, and culturally respectful support.
